The quietest part of the building, and the only one with a room on the level.
The back wing was built in 1911 for the paper and the delivery cart. Its four rooms look over the cobbled yard, the fig tree and the bicycle rack, and not at the street at all.

The walls here are thick, the windows face away from the town, and this is where people who sleep lightly end up after their first night. Rooms 1 and 2 are on the first floor; rooms 3 and 4 open onto the yard.
Room 3 has level access from the street door through the carriage arch, a shower without a step, grab rails and a bed at a height that suits a wheelchair transfer. Room 4 and room 1 accept a dog by arrangement, with a bowl and a towel by the door.

In every Courtyard Room
- Dark oak panelling from the old paper racks
- Two bedside lamps on separate switches
- Walk-in shower
- A chair and a stool by the window
- Bicycle storage twenty steps from the door
In summer the yard is where breakfast spills out to when the glass room is full, so the ground-floor rooms hear cups from about eight. Nobody has complained yet, but it seems fair to mention it.
Play happens in a single room of this house, the loft over the old shop, and in no other place. The Printed Room takes no bets online, opens no player accounts and handles no payments through this website.
